Qualifications:             Bachelor's degree in related field preferred;

                                    3-5 years related experience preferred;

                                    Experience in educational environment preferred;

                                    Equivalent combination of education and experience considered

 

Supervisory:               Yes

 

Reports to:                  Executive Director of Secondary Education

 

Begins:                        July 1, 2014

The Director of Technology will work to improve the overall quality of education received by students through the use of technology and will provide a vision for the implementation and use of technology to advance education for Joplin Schools.

Physical Demands

The individual who holds this position is regularly required to walk, hear and speak and must have close moderate and distance vision ability.  This individual must be able to travel between district facilities.  The position requires a moderate amount of travel, both in and out of district.
